Cancellation Policy

All reservations require a credit card at the time of booking and are subject to cancellation, deposit and pet policies.

 

Cancellation Policy:

Due to our size we have a strict cancellation policy, please review prior to booking your stay.

All reservations require a 25% deposit based on the total booking. This deposit is non refundable at the time of booking. We apply the cancellation and change policy equally and consistently to all reservations and without exception even when the reason for not visiting is unforeseen for example but not limited to illness, breakdowns, weather or smoke related.

The window for changes and cancellation during the months of May through October is 14 days prior to your arrival date. This also applies to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year Holiday. Fourteen days prior to arrival the balance will be charged to the card on file and become non-refundable.


If a reservation is booked with less than fourteen days to the arrival date, the full amount will be charged at booking and will be non-refundable.


The window for changes and cancellation during the months of November through April is 3 days prior to the arrival date. The balance will be charged to the card on file and become non-refundable. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years holiday fall under the 14 day cancellation window.


If a reservation is booked with less than three days to the arrival date, the full amount will be charged at booking and will be non-refundable.

Office Hours: 10am to 9pm (if we are off site we will leave a sign with contact information) We are available 24/7 by phone for emergencies.

Check in for Guest Rooms: 4pm to 9pm * late check in by request only

Check out for Guest Rooms: 11am


Check in for RV Park: 2pm to dusk

Check out for RV Park: Noon

We are an owner operated lodging facility and have very limited staff, we require all guests to notify us by text, email, or phone with their estimated arrival time. This helps us plan our day too and allows us to prepare for your arrival.


We are unable to accommodate arrivals in the RV park after dark. If you are not able to arrive within check in hours you will need to make alternative arrangements for the night and can check in early the following morning.


Sorry no refunds or credits for early departure.

Gift Certificates: Gift Certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Subject to availability, rates and night minimums for the date(s) booked. A credit card on file is required for gift certificate bookers.

RV Guidelines:

We welcome older, vintage RVs, or tiny homes in good condition and do not have age requirements for RVs. We do require all RVs to be in good working order and visually cared for. No dents, no tarps, no duct tape, no add-ons, all outlets connecting into park power must be in excellent condition. If you arrive and your RV does not meet these standards you will not be permitted to park.

Speed limit and Idling:

Property speed limit is 5mph and no idling is permitted. Be prepared to exit when you start your engines.

Quiet Hours: We ask that all our guests be respectful of and towards others all hours of the day. The Bandon Wayside is not a party location, it is a place to rest and enjoy the company of others. Quiet time is 10pm to 8am this policy is enforced for the benefit of all our guests.

Non-Registered Guests:

We ask our guests to notify us if you plan to have visitors in advance of their arrival. Upon approval guest will notify visitor to sign in at he front office and obtain a parking pass. Do not have your visitor park on their own because an open looking space maybe reserved. All visitors must leave by dusk and follow property policies or they will be asked to leave.

Early Departure:

There are no refunds for early departure.

 

Additional Cars, Boats, People-Policy:

Extra cars, boats, and extra people are subject to additional charges. See rates for details.

Fires and Grills:

The Bandon Wayside is located within city limits no wood fire are permitted and charcoal grills should only be used in approved areas.

You are permitted to safely use a propane fire ring and with prior approval.

Little People and Teenagers:

Parents before you book please read. We would love to host your stay, but the truth is we are not an ideal space for all kids or families. We can be a good spot for tired kids to sleep and eat for a couple days, but our amenities do not include a pool, game room, or any play structures. If your kids do best with an activity they will have limited options here. Our place is best suited for young people who can be pretty chill and respectful of others.

Second, we are a cannabis friendly property and we do have offer a 21 and over open air seating space for this to take place. The vibe is respectful and welcoming, but it’s not for everyone. This is located directly across from the tent space.


Should you feel like we are the right fit for you and your family, we ask that you look after your children at all times. Ask kids not to enter another camper’s space or use a common space areas that is in use or reserved by others without being invited. Everyone appreciates when you confirm that your kids left the restroom in a clean and working order.

 

Tobacco Policy/Smoke/Vaporize Policy:

No smoking in rooms. Use designated tobacco area. Make sure all butts are out to prevent fires.

 

Alcohol and Cannabis Policy:

21 and over. No smoking in rooms. Cannabis use in designated area only. Know your limit, play nice with others.

Safety and Security:

The registered guest(s) and their invitee(s) agree to use the property and the facilities of the Bandon Wayside Motel + RV at their own risk and fully comprehend that the Bandon Wayside Motel + RV is not liable for the safekeeping or condition of the RV, or any equipment for any reason including weather related. The Bandon Wayside Motel + RV will be held harmless in any event resulting in damage, loss to personal property, and any personal injury to the guest(s) or their invitee(s). 

Pet Policy

 

Only dogs are allowed in motel guest rooms, we are unable to host your cat in a guest room. Cats are okay in your RV.

We love dogs (cats too), and we also want all guests to enjoy their stay. We’re asking you to accept and embrace our guidelines, by doing so we are able to provide a warm and welcoming pet friendly property.

 

Well behaved dogs are welcome here, please know your pup’s personality and limitations before bringing them along.

 

Please do not let your dog pee and poop around the property. Please provide your dog with plenty of trips in the pet walking area to do its business and remember everyone thanks for you for picking up after your dog.

We have put a lot of time and effort into creating a clean and welcoming space for all to enjoy and would like to keep it smelling and looking great. If there is an accident don’t hide it, let the host know asap and we can work together to make it right.

 

We know your dog is great, but trust us your dog will bark if you leave him or her in the room because this is an unknown space with different sounds. Do not leave your dog in the room unattended. If you go dinner take your dog, if you go to breakfast take your dog, if you go to the beach take your dog, if you go smoke take your dog, its really that simple. RV guests, if leave your dog in the RV and they are quiet great, if you leave them in your RV and they are barking we will call you and you must return to retrieve them.

 

We count on you to prevent your pet from making excessive noise, being disruptive or aggressive to other guests. If your pet is deemed dangerous, harmful or disruptive, property management has sole discretion to require you to find other accommodations.

 

If your room or RV space requires excessive cleaning, or if damages are incurred as a result of your pet’s actions, charges for additional services and repairs will be at the registered guest expense.

 

Thank you for reading and understanding our pet guidelines (please ask for any clarification if needed). Adherence to these guidelines are very important. If these are dismissed by you, we will kindly ask you and your dog to vacate the premises with no refund.

Now that the serious part is out of the way, we hope you and your fury family member enjoy your stay here in the Bandon Wayside Motel + RV.

Pet Fees and Deposit for motel guest rooms:

$25.00 one time fee per pet

$100.00 refundable deposit

Failure to observe pet guidelines will result in the following deductions in pet deposit:

Cleaning fee will be charge at $25.00 an hour.

Guest(s) shall be responsible for replacement cost for damaged made to furniture, fixtures, bedding, and landscaping. All damages exceeding deposit will be billed at replacement cost and your pet will no longer be welcome.

Pet Fees for RV guest:

$10.00 one time pet fee no deposit

Housekeeping – Recycle and Garbage Disposal:

Trash must be bagged. Do not throw crabbing or fishing remains in dumpster. Un-bagged trash attracts bugs and smells bad.

We love our guests, but you know humans are funny creatures so here is a straight forward list of things NOT TO DO. These actions have a real impact on the property and reduce the use and enjoyment of others.

Do not even think about dying your hair at the Bandon Wayside.

Please bag your trash, it helps with wild life and reduces oder.

CRAB POTS AND FOOD: DO NOT LEAVE BAITED TRAPS OUTSIDE OR UNDER YOUR RV OR VEHICLE. THIS ACTIVITY ALSO INVITES WILDLIFE AND CREATES PROBLEMS.

Tent and Van Campers, do not charge devices in the restroom unattended. Please ask your host, and they will charge them in the office so they are secure.

Tent and Van Campers, do not use the hose on the east side. It is located outside the window of a guest room. Do not wash your dishes in the restroom, your host will bring you with a tub of warm soapy water and is happy to fill water jugs. Our system isn’t perfect, but it works.

Before you vacate the bathroom clean your mess. Sometimes people should flush twice, look and flush accordingly.

Accidents happen, if your host knows we can take care of it, if you hide it we will find it, it just delays the repair or success of getting the stain out.
